BLOODLINES
KRACK C - SIRE
Krack C is by one the most successful Dutch sire of dressage horses, Flemmingh, and out of a mare that is solidly jumping bred: by the Lucky Boy son, Beaujolais out of a mare by a son of Farn. So there is nothing on Krack C’s dam line that says ‘Dressage’ – except the way he moves… Krack C came through the ranks, and represented Holland with Anky van Grunsven at the 2002 World Equestrian Games. Krack C won the Grand Prix Special in ’s Hertogenbosch and became the Dutch Dressage Champion of 2006. He was very successful as a sire in Holland and has produced numerous successful young dressage horses. In 2001 and 2003, he sired the overall winners of the 3-year-old Riding Horses. In 2003, the mare, Terlia was champion of the National Mares Selection at Ermelo and VSN champion. The following year she was the most successful mare in the finals of the PAVO Cup, finishing in third place. Krack C’s licensed sons include: Redford (Ferro), Trento B (Ramiro), Tuschinski (Pion), Tolando (Rubinstein), United (Partout), Velazquez (Alasca), Vivaldi (Jazz), Webster (Ulft), Dorado (Rousseau) and Zhivago (Jazz). In Germany, his son, Kaizer Franz (Rousseau) was licensed at the 2001 Oldenburg selection, and sired Kaiser Karl (out of a Lefevre mare) an Oldenburg licensing champion, and reserve champion of the three-year-old riding horse stallions at the Bundeschampionate in 2005. Krack C is the grand-sire of the following KWPN stallions - Armani, Apache, Bordeaux, Cennin, Vitalis, Desperado, Dream Boy, Eye Catcher, Enzo Ferrari Texel, Estoril, Expression, Foundation, Ferdinand, Geniaal, Imposantos, Jones, Joop TC and Jersey. The sire of Krack C is the legendary FLEMMINGH. Flemmingh has all the great Holstein jumping names on his pedigree. His dam line combines the blood of the French import Cor de la Bryère with the Holstein stalwart, Farnese, with a double dose of Thoroughbred on his grand-dam’s line. Flemmingh placed third in his performance test in 1990, scoring three 9s, including a 9 for jumping. The approved stallions; Krack C, Santino and Lingh are some of the most famous Flemmingh sons. His son Lingh, ridden by Edward Gal, won several Grand Prix and was Reserve Champion at the World Cup Final in Las Vegas, where he was the crowd favourite. He won and was placed in several other Grand Prix and World Cup qualifiers. He was also a member of the Dutch team at the European Championship. RENATE-UTOPIA (Ster, Preferent, Prestatie) - DAM Renate-Utopia is an outstanding KWPN mare who is most famous for being the dam of the KWPN Licensed stallion VIVALDI, who is much admired and sought after as a sire. Besides the Preferent stallion VIVALDI, Renate-Utopia has produced the most amazingt line up of young horses. Among the most notable we find Irena-Utopia (Everdale) Prok Prov Keur, Diva-Utopia (Krack C) Prok Prov Keur, Zenzi-Utopia (San Remo) Elite Preferent Prestatie and Wiona-Utopia (Sam Remo) Elite Sport Dressage. Renate is a daughter of the magnificent stallion JAZZ, who himself needs little introduction. With his riders Tineke Bartels and Kirsten Beckers Jazz developed as a Top Grand Prix horse which achieved many top results. One of the most memorable is his participating on the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera. Besides his great performances also his successful offspring helped Jazz to receive the KWPN Predicate Keur. The KWPN rewarded Broere Jazz with the title Preferent because of his sporting achievements and his very successful offspring (Westpoint, Bristol, Tango, Chagall and of course Parzival), Jazz holds a title that none have exceeded. Since Sire rankings have been calculated by WBFSH, Jazz has been number one four straight years, and in the top three the past 2 years. Number 1 WBFSH Dressage Stallion 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. As no other stallion Jazz marks his offspring with type, talent and movements. His quality as breeding stallion was rewarded by the KWPN with the highest reward: the Preferent predicate. The KWPN Society proclaimed Jazz in 2006 as KWPN Horse of the Year. Jazz has countless offspring in National and International Sports. And not only his offspring is successful in the Dressage Sport. The most special offspring is perhaps the famous mare Vira (Jazz x Winny Jackson), ridden by her owner Elaine Pen at the highest level of Eventing. Parzival (Jazz x Ulft) also deserves to be mentioned. With his rider and owner Adelinde Cornelissen, the son of Jazz won almost everything to win. 2 time Olympic Games (2012, 2016), 2 time WEG (2010 and 2014), 4 time World Cup Final (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), 3 time European Championships (2009, 2011 and 2013) and various Dutch Championships. The great grand sire of Chirana is the Keur stallion ULFT. Ulft was a very successful dressage horse himself. Dutch Grand Prix rider Coby van Baalen presented him in the show ring and produced numerous Licensed offspring, such as Fairplay, Dublin, Boston, Conveyer, Dukaat and of course the legend that is OLYMPIC FERRO, but also fathered several international dressage horses including Argentile Gullit and 1998 European junior rider champion Habibi. (INFORMATION ON ULFT) Grand-dam to Chirana-Utopia was the Ster Preferent mare DARLA-UTOPIA who produce four Ster KWPN mares, two Prestatie KWPN mares and a Preferent KWPN mare. Along with this she produced the ZZ Light Dressage horse Papillon who was full brother to Renate. Great grand dam to Chirana-Utopia is the Ster Preferent mare WARLA-UTOPIA (v Duc De Normandie), she produced a Ster and two Preferent daughters. From this famous mare line we find the following horses: VIVALDI - Preferent KWPN Stallion RADAR - Approved KWPN Stallion WIONA-UTOPIA - Sport Dressage, Elite Mare ZENZI-UTOPIA - IBOP Dressage, Elite Prestatie Mare DIRANA-UTOPIA - Sport Dressage, IBOP Dressage, Elite Mare EVITA-UTOPIA - Sport Dressage, IBOP Dressage, Elite Mare HALOWA-UTOPIA - IBOP Dressage, Elite Mare KARATE-UTOPIA - Licensed AES Stallion BOND STREET - Approved Oldenburg Stallion So not only is this dam line full of International sport horses, the dam, grand dam and great grand dam's all had daughters who all went on to prove their worth as breeding mares and CHIRANA-UTOPIA is no exception! |
