BLOODLINES
VALERON - SIRE
Valeron by Sandro Hit was bred in the Netherlands and has firmly established himself in the royal class of dressage. With Bernadette Brune this gloriously noble built dark bay stallion has won and been placed in many international tournaments. Due to his sport activities Valeron was used only rarely in breeding. Despite this he has presented a high number of progeny that attract with their beautiful type, but also their three very good basic gaits and a remarkable willingness to perform in sport – this, up to advanced class. Valeron was LIcensed by the KWPN in 2005 and was Reserve Champion. He was the price highlight at the KWPN Select Sale and sold for 150,000 euros. At his performance test he was awarded with 8.5 for all three gaits and his overall appearance and appeal as a dressage horse. He has since, with her owner and rider, Bernadette Brune competed at International Grand Prix dressage. Valeron is by the legendary stallion SANDRO HIT who really needs very little introduction as he is the flagship for Paul Schockemohle with multiple champion foals, mares, stallions and International Grand Prix horses. Grand sire is the top stallion HOUSTON, who was awarded KEUR by the KWPN and himself competed up to Intermediare I. Houston is sire of the KWPN Approved stallion BROERE VALDEZ. REINE B (Preferent, Prestatie, Sport Dressage) - DAM Reine B is an International Grand Prix Dressage mare who is by the legendary stallion RUBINSTEIN! Reine B was bred by the Bleeker Family in Holland. She was competed with huge success by Dutch International rider Lotje Schoots. There success was incredible and included being on the 2006 European Champion Team, 2007 European Champion Team and Individual Silver Medalists, 2008 European Champion Team and Individual Gold Medalists. 2nd Place in the 2007 World Cup Qualifer, 2006 Dutch Junior Champion, 2007 & 2008 Dutch Young Rider Champions! Reine B is a half-sister to the Small Tour horses Tsarina B (Jazz) ridden by Lotje Schoots, Inca B (Saros xx) and Urchin B (Jazz). Urchin B was originally trained to Small Tour level by Alex van Silfhout and in 2009 Michelle van Lanen took over the ride. The pair won bronze at the 2010 Dutch Young Riders Championships. Michelle was member of the bronze medal winning Dutch team at the 2011 and 2012 European Young Riders Championships. She is also half sister to the the ZZ-Heavy horse Julia B (Rubinstein) and a Z1-level mare. Great-grandam, the Z2-level mare Dola (Vincent), half-sister to the Grand Prix dressage horse Conquistador (Pion), is meanwhile grandam of eight dressage horses from Z2 to Small Tour level. Talk about sport genes! A sister to DAUPHINE B, called FILLE DE REINE B (Jazz) produced the 2017 Approved KWPN stallion MISTER MASERATI by Glock's Toto Jnr. This outstanding stallion is ridden by International Grand Prix Dressage rider Diederik van Silfhout and they won the Subli Cup winner at Jumping Amsterdam 2023 with a huge score of 85.8%!! The grand sire of Dauphine B, is the legend that is RUBINSTEIN. Rubinstein was born into a dressage Royal Family. His dam was Antine, one of the three daughters of the mating of the Thoroughbred stallion, Angelo and Dodona (the two male foals from this pairing were Olympic dressage stars, Amon and Ahlerich). Rubinstein was by Rosenkavalier – Rosenkavalier was by Romadour II, who was the sire of World and Olympic champion, Rembrandt, out of Antine’s full-sister, Adone. From another full-sister, Annette came Romancier (also by Rosenkavalier) who stood at the Blue Hors Stud in Denmark. Rubinstein’s sire, Romadour II is one of the most significant of modern Westfalen sires. In 1976, Romadour II represented the Westfalien studbook at the DLG Exhibition in Munich, where he was awarded the 1-a winner’s prize, while his daughters, Riviera and Ranja were awarded the 1-a and 1-b distinction respectively in the three-year-old class. Nicole Uphoff’s Rembrandt is, of course, the most famous of Romadour II’s progeny, while his breeding sons, Renoir I and Rosenkavalier have continued to pass on his legacy, most notably through Rubinstein and his sons. Rubinstein sired more than 90 approved stallions and numerous competition sports horses. The great grand-sire is the KWPN stallion VINCENT. Vincent is a son of the KEUR KWPN stallion PRETENDENT out of a mare by the Sport Preferent KWPN stallion DUC DE NORMANDIE. Vincent competed at International Grand Prix level and is sire of the KEUR KWPN stallion CABOCHON who made a huge impact into the KWPN breeding lines. Vincent is also grand-sire to the following popular KWPN stallions: TURBO MAGIC, UPPERVILLE, KIMBERLEY, CARLTON HILL VDL, EXPRESSION and GUNNER KS. As you can see above the pedigree for DAUPHINE B is incredible!! Not only on the sire side, but on the dam side.
